Postdoctoral Researcher position on Federated Learning for Semantic Segmentation in Medical Imaging

We are having an exciting opportunity to join us at the Center for Biomedical Image Computing and Analytics (CBICA) at the University of Pennsylvania, on a federally funded project revolving around federated machine learning in the medical imaging domain, and particularly in radiographic scans of brain, breast, and liver cancer.
The successful candidate will conduct leading-edge research and prototyping for algorithms in a collaborative environment including Intel AI. Ample data, computational resources will be provided. The specific research tasks include the development of novel, efficient, and interpretable deep learning algorithms for detection and segmentation of pathological patterns in 2D, 3D, and 4D medical imaging data.
o Ph.D. in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
o Strong research record, proven by a publication record including first author papers in pattern recognition, medical image analysis, and/or medical image computing
o Knowledge in machine learning
o Strong communication/interpersonal skills
