Université Clemont Auvergne
Context. The Endoscopy and Computer Vision research group (EnCoV) has received funding from the European Commission and the National Research Agency to fund multiple postdoc positions. EnCoV conducts research in computer vision, specifically 3D reconstruction of non-rigid objects with geometry and deep learning, and in computer-assisted endoscopic procedures. It involves scientists and MDs and forms a very good place for fundamental and translational research. EnCoV has pioneered Augmented Reality Laparoscopy, with prototypes currently in use at the local university hospital (see for instance https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lp0HtOYdZ7A).
Proposed positions. The proposed positions are 1-year renewable contracts which may extend up to 4 years. The research subjects are flexible and will involve research in computer vision on non-rigid objects (registration and 3D reconstruction) and possibly its application in endoscopy. The postdocs will work with Adrien Bartoli and the other members of EnCoV.
Venue. EnCoV is located at the Faculty of Medicine in the city of Clermont-Ferrand. Situated in the centre of France, the city of Clermont-Ferrand has an average size and a high quality of life.
