Description:

A postdoctoral position is available in medical image analysis for pancreatic cancer. The successful candidate will be involved in developing new algorithms (computer vision, machine learning, and medical image processing & analysis related) using high-performance computing machines to study the correlation to clinical outcomes from medical images.

Required qualifications:

Applicants should have Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or related engineering majors that enable them to build mathematical and algorithmic models on medical images and implement them.

  • Mathematical modeling ability (not limited to a specific methodology but machine learning, computer vision, or geometric modeling is preferred) is required.
  • Programming ability (C++, Python, or Matlab, etc.) is required.
  • Basic background of medical images (especially CT or MR) and analysis experience is preferred.
