The CAD Lab of Radiology Department at the University of Michigan invites applications for postdoctoral fellow positions. Our lab encourages out-of-the-box thinking, drives innovation, accelerates the path from basic research to real-world health outcomes, while serving as an ideal training site for the next generation of scientists and thought leaders.
We seek a motivative research fellow for a NIH funded project for personalized cancer risk prediction. The idea candidates will combine image analysis and machine learning with clinical information to build a precision-based decision model for risk prediction.
Candidates should hold a PhD in engineering, life sciences, physical sciences or a related field. Individuals with experience in quantitative imaging, texture analysis, machine learning algorithms for data classification, or image segmentation would be excellent additions to our team. Strong programming skills in C, Python, R and MATLAB are required; working knowledge of VTK/ITK, OpenCV, and Deep learning packages is an asset.
