Postdoctoral Research Associate in Quantitative Biomedical Imaging

An immediate opening for a Postdoctoral Research Associate is available at Mallinckrodt Institute of Radiology (MIR), Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. 

The position is for a funded NIH grant in cancer imaging.  The successful candidate will be a member of a highly interdisciplinary team of investigators including clinicians, biologists, engineers, and imaging scientists to develop, validate and implement advanced imaging methodologies in the context of a co-clinical (preclinical and clinical) trial.  The candidate will be engaged in multi-modality quantitative imaging (QI) and phenotyping of multi-parametric preclinical and clinical PET and MR images interfacing with the Biomedical MR Lab, Center for Clinical Imaging Research, and the Radiological Chemistry Imaging Lab at MIR.    Additional information about the research initiative can be found at

The ideal candidate will have a doctoral degree in the physical sciences or engineering, with no more than 3 years of previous postdoctoral research experience, and be eligible to work in the United States.  Demonstrated experience in hands-on PET and/or MRI data acquisition image analytics and processing is highly desirable, as is evidence of research activity resulting in publications and presentations.
