Machine Learning Postdoctoral Associate

Weill Cornell Medical College, Department of Radiology has a position available for a Machine Learning Postdoctoral Associate for up to 2 years in its Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging. The institute is comprised of faculty, researchers and students from the fields of engineering, computer science, epidemiology, cardiology, and radiology. You will work under the supervision of our director James K. Min, M.D.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Dalio Institute of Cardiovascular Imaging at the Weill Cornell Medical College seeks a talented and enthusiastic postdoctoral fellow or research scientist to generate research ideas for the application of machine and deep learning to medical data and to design software interfaces for machine learning applications. . This will involve working with large-scale electronic healthcare records (EHR) as well as medical images, with a focus on cardiac CT and echocardiography. This is an ideal opportunity for highly productive research resulting in manuscript publications and conference papers


Minimum Requirements

  • Must have a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Cognitive Science or equivalent.
  • Proven ability to work in a collaborative and professional manner, reflective of the Dalio ICI multidisciplinary culture.
