Description: We are looking for motivated researcher in the areas of medical image analysis and translational cancer research to join a newly established research lab (https://www.mdanderson.org/research/departments-labs-institutes/labs/wu-laboratory.html). The research themes are center on develop innovative quantitative imaging biomarkers to characterize cancer phenotypes; integrate image with multi-omics data across multiple scales to decipher cancer mechanisms; validate and translate imaging biomarkers to guide clinical practice.

We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic in cancer research, self-motivated, and determined to improving cancer patient treatment. Candidates from a diverse background are encouraged to apply. This position requires skills of advanced image analysis, e.g., image segmentation, image registration, and image-based feature extraction. Top applicants are required to have training in machine learning/deep learning, and proficiency in Python and MATLAB. The candidates must be fluent in written/spoken English and good at presenting research accomplishments.
