Description Applications are invited for open research fellowship and visiting scholar positions in the Martinos Center (https://www.martinos.org/) at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS), Boston, USA. Martinos Center is a national biomedical technology resource funded by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) to provide novel imaging technologies that revolutionize how scientists and physicians view and use medical imaging. The applicants are expected to

 Develop artificial intelligence/machine learning techniques to design, optimize and accelerate image acquisition and reconstruction of quantitative, multi-parametric, and dynamic MRI.
 Develop and evaluate novel MRI pulse sequences and acquisition methods for rapid and robust imaging of tissue microstructure, composition, and function.
 Develop intelligent methods and software solutions for medical signal and image data analysis and processing in translational imaging research.

The successful applicants will be required to conduct research in NIH R01- and R21-funded projects focusing on musculoskeletal, neurological, and oncological studies. The applicants will join a vibrant research environment at one of the world's top universities and hospital systems, with the role to disseminate research through publications in high-impact journals and presentations at top conferences. The positions are immediately available and will be for two years for postdoc fellow and one year for visiting scholar, renewable upon the performance.
Requirements:
• Major in Computer Science/Vision, Biomedical Engineering, Medical Physics, or related field
• Hands-on experience with MRI, image analysis and processing
• Proficiency in quantitative methods and strong programming skills (MATLAB, Python, etc.)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English
Highly Preferable:
• Siemens or GE MRI sequence programming, clinical and/or animal scanner experience
• AI/ML applied to (medical) image data, familiar with Unix/Linux, large-scale computing
