Description The School of Computing Science and Cancer Research UK Beatson Institute at University of Glasgow are inviting applications to a PhD position (4 year funding) to work on deep learning (e.g. representation learning, self-supervised learning, multimodal integration) in computational pathology, with a particular focus on mesothelioma (a lethal cancer of lung, https://www.cancerresearchuk.org/about-cancer/mesothelioma).
The successful candidate will work with Dr Ke Yuan (https://kyuanlab.org/) and John Le Quesne (https://www.beatson.gla.ac.uk/The-Beatson-Institute-Research-Groups/john-lequesne.html) and a team of computer scientists, academic pathologists and clinicians exploring frontiers of methodology development and translational discovery.
