Description BAMF Health is developing a network of advanced cyclotron-equipped radiopharmacies and clinics. Powered by our proprietary AI platform, BAMF Health clinics will deliver personalized treatment to patients with cancer, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, mental illnesses, cardiac diseases, endometriosis, and chronic pain. You should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment and should be excited and passionate about working with the latest technologies in bioinformatics, data science, machine learning and statistics. Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently are essential, as well as the ability to pick up new technologies and skills. We have offices in Grand Rapids, Michigan in the US and in Singapore and are willing to accept fully remote candidates as well.

What you’ll be doing:

· Provide technical leadership & expertise across multiple modeling projects.

· Design and prototype novel analysis tools and algorithms for modeling patient outcomes.

· Design workflows, data pipelines, and visualization tools.

· Deploy machine learning models to integrate with clinical workflow.

· Document and present your findings to a group of engineer’s/AI/Medical professionals.

· Work closely with clinicians to design and perform analyses on EHR data to predict and improve patient outcomes.

· Interface between medical, data, and engineering teams.

· Lead research papers in the field of machine learning and statistics.

What we need to see:

· PhD or Masters in one of the following: Bioinformatics, Machine Learning, Data science, Statistics, Applied mathematics, or similar.

· Experience (7+ years) working with statistical modeling, data mining, and machine learning methods (supervised and unsupervised)

· Experience with the following: Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, and machine learning framework such as TensorFlow.

· Strong theoretical and practical understanding of working with medical data and multi model data sets.

· Experience (3+ years) working with Electronic Health Record data or other patient-level data.

· Self-reliant; able to work independently and accept responsibility for projects.

· Willingness to learn and experiment with a passion for technology.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ways to stand out:

· Publications in top machine learning, statistics conferences and journals preferably in the medical domain.

· Experience deploying models in a production environment

· Experience working with EHR and clinical data

· Experience presenting findings from machine learning projects to diverse audiences
