MSB Invites Submissions to EMERGE 2025

The MICCAI Student Board is proud to announce the second edition of EMERGE, dedicated to showcasing early-career, student-led research in the medical image computing community!

We strongly encourage submissions where young scientists are the last authors. The workshop will take place in person as a half-day satellite event of MICCAI 2025 in Daejeon, South Korea.

Full-length papers following the MICCAI main conference format (8 pages + 2 reference pages). Submissions will undergo double-blind peer review. Accepted papers will be published in Springer LNCS proceedings.

Authors of accepted MICCAI 2025 (main conference) posters may present their work as an oral talk at EMERGE. These submissions will undergo a light, single-blind review for relevance and fit. The presenting author must be a young scientist.

Selected papers will be invited to submit extended versions to MELBA (The Journal of Machine Learning for Biomedical Imaging) with cash prizes worth $600 for outstanding papers!
