Description The Quantitative Imaging Core Lab (QICL) of Department of Radiology at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine is seeking a full-time Deep Learning postdoctoral fellow in Cancer Imaging and Radiology.

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with a PhD degree in Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, or equivalent degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Research topics include development of new AI models for early tumor detection and classification, assessment of tumor response to therapy, or related topics. Significant expertise with at least one deep-learning framework (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow) and experience developing and testing deep learning networks is required. Familiarity of the existing deep-learning models and the state-of the art literature is necessary. Knowledge of multimodal fusion with deep neural networks will be highly appreciated. Publication record in top-tier journals is expected. Excellent written and verbal English communication skills desired given the frequent discussions with different research teams from various domains, e.g., radiology, hepatology/oncology, and pathology.
