Northern Institute for Deep Learning in Ultrasound (NIDUS) is a multidisciplinary research lab focusing on the application of Artificial Intelligence in ultrasound. We focus on developing Deep Learning techniques to improve various ultrasound examinations. NIDUS functions as part of the Department of Radiology and Diagnostic Imaging, University of Alberta, Edmonton, Canada. The NIDUS team is led by Dr. Jacob Jaremko who is a Canadian Institute for Advanced Research(CIFAR) Chair at the Department of Radiology and we work closely with top researchers and AI scientists at the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute (AMII).

We are recruiting graduate students to join our team for the fall semester starting Sep 2023.
