Position description: The Intelligent Medical Imaging research group of the Computational Radiology Laboratory at Boston Children’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, has open positions for MRI Scientists and postdoctoral fellows, to engage in research projects that are funded by the US National Institutes of Health. The positions are focused on the development of new MRI sequences and techniques for motion-robust imaging and involve pulse sequence design and programming. Level and salary are commensurate with qualifications. Short-term projects are available for interns.

Minimum requirements:
• PhD (finished or expected) in electrical or biomedical engineering, medical physics, computer science, applied mathematics, or a related field with a research focus on MR physics, signal and image processing, and medical imaging
• Demonstrated deep knowledge and experience in magnetic resonance imaging
• Demonstrated record of experience in scientific and high-performance algorithm development and programming with C++ and python for medical imaging
• Track record of high-quality publications in top journals in the MRI field
• Demonstrated analytical, verbal, and scientific writing skills

Highly desired qualifications:
• Experience in developing innovative methods for
o Magnetic resonance imaging, MR image acquisition and reconstruction
o MRI pulse sequence programming, ideally on Siemens MRI platforms
o Motion and distortion correction in MRI
