Description We are looking for computational researcher in the areas of medical image analysis and machine learning to join our research lab (https://www.mdanderson.org/research/departments-labs-institutes/labs/wu-laboratory.html). We have published original research in impactful journals, including Lancet Digital Health, Nature Machine Intelligence, Nature Communications, Radiology, Clinical Cancer Research, and Modern Pathology. The research themes are centered on
develop medical image models for cancer diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment selection
integrate images with molecular data to decipher biology mechanisms
We are looking for candidates who are enthusiastic about cancer research, self-motivated, and determined to kill cancer. Candidates from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply. This position requires skills in advanced image analysis (e.g., segmentation, registration, and feature extraction), machine learning, data science, and applied math. Top applicants are required to have dedicated training/ research in machine learning/deep learning, and proficiency in Python and MATLAB. The candidates must be fluent in written/spoken English and good at presenting research accomplishments.
