Description Are you a data science and AI enthusiast? Do you aspire to make a significant impact in the development of novel biologics drugs for oncology, respiratory and cardiovascular diseases? If so, AstraZeneca is the place for you! We are looking for a talented and motivated computational biologist to join our growing Biologics Augmented Biologics Discover & Design team. This team is central to our Biologics Engineering team, responsible for the discovery and optimisation of biological candidate drugs and the development of in-house biologics discovery platforms.
As a Senior Scientist, you will contribute to the development of an end-to-end data analysis capability within our Biologics Engineering team. You will work collaboratively with data and drug discovery scientists to establish structural analytics workflows for biologics discovery. You will drive innovative structural, generative & machine learning methods for the design and optimisation of therapeutic proteins. You will also participate in strategic external collaborations and support testing and verification of data management analyses and tools and pipelines in collaboration with AZ stakeholders. Your effective communication skills will be crucial in translating complex concepts to non-experts in internal and external scientific meetings.
