Based in Sapporo, Hokkaido, we have been advancing our services using unique algorithms. Currently, we are developing the musculoskeletal motion analysis system "MYoACT" for medical institutions and "Shisei-Note", a posture evaluation service for the healthcare industry. One of ORGO's distinctive features is our in-house research laboratory equipped with motion capture cameras, force plates, EMG sensors, and a high-performance computing environment. We collaborate with leading national medical institutions and universities, including National Center for Global Health and Medicine, University of Tokyo, Hokkaido University and Asahikawa Medical University Hospital, and we expect to produce further research results in the future.
This position involves conducting foundational technology research that forms the core of all services developed at ORGO. The missions faced by this position include:
Exploring world-wide innovative ideas and conducting unique and creative research to enhance our products
Improving the accuracy of analytical techniques through joint research with medical institutions
Theoretical substantiation of analysis techniques
Writing papers and presenting at conferences

# Job Description
Join the existing team of a new in-house service and undertake one of the following roles:
1/ Conducting technical research, publishing papers, and obtaining patents.
2/ Developing based on research and contributing to its implementation in society.
(The role will be decided based on the candidate's preferences and intentions, as determined during the interview process.)
# Development Environment
We use Slack for communication and conduct speedy development by quickly cycling through PDCA. The following technologies are used, but it is not necessary to be familiar with all of them at the current stage, and study after joining is possible:

# Position Details

- ​Salary: 6,500,000 ~ 10,000,000 JPY

- Work Location: Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan - Hybrid Work Model
# Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in software engineering in computer vision or machine learning
- Expertise in 3D posture estimation from videos and the mathematics behind the technology
- Experience in programming for implementing computer vision (Python, PyTorch)
- Ability to involve the entire company to achieve maximum performance
- Efficient communication skills in both face-to-face and remote settings
# Desired
- A Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field, or a Master's degree with more than 3 years of relevant practical experience
- Experience in optimizing and automating machine learning workflows using MLOps
- Experience in integrating machine learning algorithms into real product environments
- Experience as a key team member in research projects
- Confidence in high productivity in publishing papers (Experience in presenting at CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, Siggraph, etc. is a plus)
- Knowledge in biomechanics
- Knowledge in machine learning
- Experience in using AI development platforms
- Individuals who are passionate and committed, willing to contribute to the organization and society without concern for job titles
