DescriptionThe PhD position in Explainable AI for Dermatological Clinical Decision Support offers a unique opportunity to contribute to innovative research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and clinical dermatology. The position focuses on developing AI-driven systems that support dermatological care while ensuring transparency and trust through Explainable AI (XAI). The successful candidate will curate large-scale dermatological image datasets, design and implement decision support systems, and conduct multi-centric clinical evaluations. This interdisciplinary project, a collaboration between the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, the University Hospital of Basel, and the University of Basel, offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI and healthcare research.
