Introducing the MICCAI 2023 LMIC Grant. Apply by July 19, 2023

The MICCAI Society is pleased to introduce the MICCAI 2023 Low-Middle Income Countries Grant with hopes to continue to facilitate increased accessibility, diversity and equity at MICCAI 2023. If you have already registered for MICCAI 2023, and are eligible for this grant, you are still welcome to apply.
Eligibility
The MICCAI 2023 LMIC Grant is open to researchers based in home institutions from low-and-middle-income countries (as listed here) who are wishing to attend MICCAI 2023.
The MICCAI 2023 LMIC Grant will cover one in-person MICCAI 2023 conference registration which includes the main conference and both days of satellite event registrations as well as a one-year MICCAI Society membership. It does not cover travel expenses.
Priority will be given to those populations, not already eligible for support under the Participation Grant, which is geared towards students and early career researchers.
Exclusion: Recipients of the MICCAI 2023 STAR awards or recipients of the MICCAI 2023 Main Conference and Satellite Events Participation Grants are not eligible.

Timeline:
- 5 July, 2023: Online application form opens
- 19 July, 2023: Deadline for online applications
- 25 July, 2023: Notification of grants awarded
- 31 July, 2023: Conference registration deadline (using waiver code)
