Here's a summary of some of the key dates coming up to help you kick-start 2024.
Jan 9: CALL FOR AREA CHAIRS
We invite all experienced researchers who have been active in past MICCAI conferences and are familiar with the review process to be an Area Chair for MICCAI 2024. If you are new to the MICCAI community, you may still be eligible to be an AC if you have been involved in the organization of high-quality MIC and/or CAI events. We encourage applications from women and underrepresented communities and regions at MICCAI. [more]
Jan 18: WORKSHOP Proposals due for MICCAI 2024
We are soliciting proposals for workshops to be held in conjunction with MICCAI 2024. Workshops will take place on October 6 and 10 at the main conference venue, each organized as a half-day (AM or PM) **fully in-person event**. Topics relevant to MICCAI in Africa, proposals from Africa, or more general topics relevant to MICCAI for global health and proposals from under-represented regions, are strongly encouraged. [more]
Jan 18: CHALLENGE Proposals due for MICCAI 2024
Challenges will take place on October 6th and 10th, 2024. Each challenge may be organized as a half-day or a full-day event, designed as oral/poster presentations and/or as hands-on competitions during the event. Challenges should address a well-defined open problem relevant to MICCAI, provide high-quality data for training and testing algorithms, and define a clear assessment procedure. [more]
Jan 18: TUTORIAL Proposals due for MICCAI 2024
Tutorials will take place on October 6 and 10 at the main conference venue, each organized as a half-day (AM or PM) **fully in-person event**. Tutorials are educational sessions offered by expert researchers and scientists on topics relevant to the MICCAI community and provide educational materials for all career levels. [more]
Feb 22: Call for PAPERS - Abstract deadline
For the very first time, the MICCAI conference will set its stage on the African continent. This will mark a significant moment for global collaboration and scientific diversity in medical image computing and computer-assisted interventions. Deadline for paper submissions is March 7. [more]
Feb 22: Call for PAPERS - Health Equity Session. Abstract deadline
To celebrate the first MICCAI conference in Africa, we introduce a "MICCAI for Health Equity" session, which will highlight new approaches and applications that enhance access to healthcare and improve health outcomes for all populations worldwide, across diverse geographical, social, economic, and demographic determinants. Deadline for submissions is March 7. [more]
