The MICCAI Special Interest Group on Fairness of AI on Medical Imaging (SIG-FAIMI) will hold its 3rd annual free, online FAIMI symposium. In the first two years, these have been amazing events, with a fantastic array of keynote speakers, invited talks from some of the best fairness papers of the year, and stimulating panel discussions. If you haven’t already, you can see the recordings of the 2022 and 2023 events on our YouTube channel.
This year, we are delighted to welcome Roxana Daneshjou as our keynote speaker. Roxana has been a pioneer in curating and sharing with the community representative skin lesion datasets, and her talk is sure to be enlightening and fascinating. Registration for the online symposium is now open. It’s free but we may have limited capacity due to Zoom limitations, so make sure you sign up early to secure your place.
