Call for Reviewers for MICCAI 2026
Tuesday 13th January 2026
Dear Colleagues
We seek your assistance as an expert reviewer for the annual MICCAI conference, to be held in Abu Dhabi on October 4-8, 2026. The quality of the conference largely depends on the reviewers, and we hope you will be one of them.
The paper review will take place between March 27 and April 16, 2026. Each reviewer will be asked to assess approximately five papers during this time period. Reviewers bid for papers between March 19 and 23, 2026. The reviewers will also have the opportunity to revise and update their reviews after the rebuttals are submitted between May 15 and 21, 2026.
As in previous years, we will be using the Microsoft Conference Management (CMT) System. Papers will be assigned based on Area Chair suggestions and reviewer expertise scores from the Toronto Paper Matching System, combined with the opportunity for reviewers to bid on papers they would be interested in reviewing.
We intend to publish anonymous reviews (and rebuttals) alongside the papers. By agreeing to review for MICCAI, you will have permitted us to publish your review.
In recognition of your efforts, your name will be listed in the conference proceedings, and you will be eligible for the conference's prestigious reviewing awards.
How to Apply
We invite all researchers who have preferably participated in past MICCAI conferences to apply. We expect student reviewers to have published a first-authored paper in MICCAI or a related journal or conference venue (e.g., MedIA, IEEE TMI, ISBI, IPMI, CVPR, etc.) in order to be eligible reviewers.
If you are willing to review for MICCAI, please complete the sign-up form by February 12, 2026. If you have reviewed for MICCAI before and received an invitation to review for MICCAI 2026 from the CMT system, you can accept that invitation, and you do not need to apply again.
The deadline to apply is February 12, 2026. Thank you very much in advance for your essential support for the success of MICCAI 2026.
Best wishes,
MICCAI 2026 Organizing Committee
