MICCAI Student Board seeks new members

The MICCAI Student Board is looking for new members to join our team and help advance medical imaging education and research worldwide.
About the MICCAI Student Board (MSB)
The MSB represents student and young scientist interests within the MICCAI community. We stimulate the involvement of young scientists by providing opportunities for networking with experienced professionals from academia and industry, organize webinars throughout the year, conduct the MICCAI Doctoral Symposium to improve the visibility of young scientists, run scientific workshops such as MSB EMERGE and manage the MICCAI Educational Initiative. We advise the MICCAI Board on matters crucial to young researchers and actively participate as ad-hoc members in various MICCAI boards and working group activities.

The available MICCAI Student Board positions this year are:
Scientific Events Officer
Responsible for organizing and coordinating the MSB EMERGE workshop, including paper submissions, the review process, and workshop logistics, as a satellite event during the conference. Applications are welcome from young scientists at all levels, however, preference will be given to senior-level students. Ideal candidates should be available to attend MICCAI 2026 in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.
Public Relations Officer
Responsible for enhancing MSB's visibility by managing our social media, website, YouTube channel, and newsletters. PR officers collaborate closely to split responsibilities effectively. Preference will be given to candidates with design or content creation experience. In your application, please highlight any design skills and indicate your preference for either social media management or general online presence.
Executive and Finance Officer
Responsible for managing the organization's finances, budgeting, and administrative tasks to ensure efficient operations and supporting the other MSB sub-groups. Early PhD students or Master's students are preferred candidates as this is an ideal entry position.
Local Student Liaison Officer
Responsible for supporting the organization of local events during MICCAI 2026. Preference will be given to candidates with knowledge of the United Arab Emirates, particularly Abu Dhabi, and familiarity with the local language.
