SIG-CompPath
MICCAI Special Interest Group on Computational Pathology
Mission
The focus of the Special Interest Group on “Computational Pathology” (SIG-CompPath) revolves around the development and application of novel imaging techniques and methods for clinical, pre-clinical, and non-clinical biomedical imaging.
Goals
Our goal is to bring together key stakeholders focused on the field of Computational Pathology, to make contributions and drive this field towards its full potential, ultimately making the transition from research to clinical practice. Such key stakeholders include, but are not limited to, computational and clinical researchers, opinion leaders, and equipment manufacturers.
The SIG also intends to build consensus regarding standards and best practices in the field of Computational Pathology, by fostering inclusivity and integrating the expertise of SIG-specific laboratories in academia and industry, from around the world.
