2012 MICCAI Fellows


 

The 2012 MICCAI Society Fellows election process consisted of Fellows nominating and then voting for candidates with the top 3 candidates with most votes recommended for election. The recommendations of the Fellows were then ratified by the MICCAI Society Board (Board members with any conflict of interest did not vote). The Fellows Elections officer for 2012 was Terry Peters (Robarts Research Institute, Canada).

 

Alison Noble (Oxford University UK): 

for contributions to medical image analysis, and in particular ultrasound image analysis applied in cardiology and oncology

 

Wiro Niessen (Erasmus Medical Centre, The Netherlands):

for significant scientific contributions to medical image analysis, and promotion of the field through organizational activities

 

Nassir Navab  (Technical University of Munich, Germany):

for contributions to image-guided interventions through image registration and segmentation
