Women in MICCAI Award Recipients and Webinar Series Update
Women in MICCAI (WiM) have organized two new webinars in the webinar series "Health Equity in the AI Era" Webinar Series.
The first webinar, held on Monday, December 9, was an invited talk by Dr. Maria A. Zuluaga on “Building Trustworthiness through Robustness”. This webinar gave an excellent overview on topics of robustness and trustworthiness, and dove deep into the specific technical works on robustness conducted by Dr. Maria A. Zuluaga’s group. This webinar received a lot of attention in the community, with high attendance rate and an active Q&A session.
The next webinar is a panel discussion scheduled on January 23 on “Conducting Health Equity Research” with WiM Best Health Equity Paper Awardees. Stay tuned for registration information of the webinar, which will be announced via the MICCAI newsletter in early January.
