We look forward to welcoming you to Daejeon, South Korea, a vibrant city known for its innovation and technology. The planning for MICCAI 2025, now just six months away, is progressing at full speed. We are excited to share that our program is taking shape, with a diverse lineup of speakers, sessions, and workshops coming together.

Behind the scenes, our team has been working hard to ensure that every detail is aligned, and we’re confident that this event will offer valuable insights and foster meaningful connections for all attendees.

Paper submissions

The Program Committee is hard at work reviewing a record number of paper submissions - 3,667 papers to be exact - and they are committed to ensuring a thorough and fair evaluation process. Each submission is being carefully reviewed by at least two reviewers with expertise in relevant fields. Area Chairs are overseeing the review and rebuttal process to ensure the highest standards of quality. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all researchers for their submissions, as their contributions are invaluable in shaping a high-quality program that reflects the latest advancements and research in the field.

Keynote Speakers

We are thrilled to announce that we have four distinguished keynote speakers who will be presenting at MICCAI 2025! Each of these experts brings a wealth of knowledge and groundbreaking insights to the table.

Our first keynote speaker, Professor Jin Hyung Lee, Associate Professor of Neurology and Neurological Sciences, Bioengineering, Neurosurgery and Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, who will share her latest work on the design of therapeutic interventions and treatment of brain disorders.

Dr. Ha Hong, an industry leader in artificial intelligence in the medical device field, will provide an overview of AI strategies, best practices, and recent innovations from Medtronic Endoscopy.

We are also excited to welcome Professor Curtis Langlotz, Professor of Radiology, Medicine and Biomedical Data Science, and the Senior Associate Vice Provost for Research at Stanford University. As the former President of RSNA and one of the leading experts in radiology and AI, he will discuss how machine learning methods and computer vision systems are advancing the work of radiologists.

Finally, Professor Xuanhe Zhao, the Uncas and Helen Whitaker Professor at MIT, will explore the future of human-machine convergence, highlighting the role of emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence, synthetic biology, and precision medicine. We are confident that their talks will inspire and engage attendees, offering fresh perspectives and innovative solutions shaping the future of our field.
