MSB Gears up for Daejeon
The MICCAI Student Board has been working hard for you! Here’s what we’ve been planning behind the scenes to make your MICCAI 2025 something to look forward to, in and beyond the sessions.
Webinar Series
Join us for our upcoming webinar, Getting Ready for MICCAI 2025 in Daejeon: Insights from the Local Organizing Committee, where we’ll cover the key details you’ll want to know before heading to this year’s conference. Hear directly from our General Chair Jinah Park, Local Committee Chair Sang Hyun Park, and MSB’s Local Student Liaison Chanyoung Kim as they share travel and accommodation tips on Daejeon, what to expect once you arrive, and how to make the most of your MICCAI experience. Register here!
EMERGE Workshop
We are excited to host the second edition of EMERGE, supporting early-career researchers on their journey to becoming independent investigators and mentors! This year, EMERGE features two tracks: an archival track for original, unpublished research, and a non-archival track that offers oral presentation opportunities for papers accepted to the MICCAI main conference. Please submit by June 25, 2025! For the most up-to-date information, visit the EMERGE website.
Social Experiences
Lastly, we invite you to a series of social events to make the most of your MICCAI 2025 experience! Kick things off with our Annual 5v5 Soccer Game, explore the city through our Evening Tour of taste and traditions, or take a deeper dive into local culture in our Full-Day Tour to discover Daejeon. These events are open to all attendees and have limited spots - register now through the MICCAI conference platform. Find out more here!
