The Women in MICCAI (WiM) organization has proudly announced the launch of its election process for new board members. In addition to the pre-existing seven positions, we have innovatively designed a new role titled "Community Engagement Officer" to enhance our connection with the MICCAI community. We are also excited to extend an invitation for applications to students, thereby fostering diverse representation and perspectives within our board. We have completed the application process and will be announcing the new members in July 2023.

Furthermore, WiM is actively planning a significant event at MICCAI 2023. Our aim is to convene leading researchers who will share their experience and provide essential guidance to young researchers navigating their way through challenges in the field. To continue recognizing excellence, we are delighted to announce the continuation of the esteemed WiM Best Presentation Award at MICCAI 2023.
