Special Session: Kick Off 2026 with RISE-MICCAI

We started the year with a special session bringing together members of the RISE-MICCAI community to reflect on our journey and discuss the road ahead.

The RISE Special Session, held on January 17, 2026, brought together members of the community to both introduce the RISE programme and gather valuable input from participants about its future direction. Our main goal was to showcase RISE—its mission, activities, and ongoing initiatives especially for attendees who may be new to the programme or looking for a clearer understanding of the work we do highlighting our objectives, current efforts, and opportunities for involvement.

Overall, the session fostered the importance of community engagement and activities that will contribute to shaping the future of RISE-MICCAI.
